So something really struck me, well not literally, but I remember someone saying something about how every demi god child kinda looks the same. Like how Hermes kids have elfish features and all that jazz. So this entry is going to be dedicated to me trying to look a different demi god. So this entry is just me editing a song I recently wrote. Usually I have a team that writes my songs for me and I just perform them, but I've written a couple of my own. The label says they're not good enough, but you know, whatever screw them to. Back to the song, it's a song about discovering someone cheating on me. Which has never happened, but you know..I read a book and the character was cheated on..close enough. Well here it goes, the first draft.

In this life we're living,

As I lay here in the dark.

And that's as far as I got. I can hear the music in my head, and its all slow and sad in the beginning, then gets all angsty and angry towards the end, but I don't know how to legit write music so this is as far as I got. Still a lot more edits to come and hopefully the label will actually take this one! Fingers crossed.

So I finished that song, more or less, and now I understand why the label wont let me play my own songs. My fans would hate it. When they come to see me, they expect something you can dance to or something you can cry along with. So this is just going to forever stay in my journal.

Dear Diary,

I think it's about time to start planning my life as a cat lady. I end up meeting this awesome guy, he's funny, cute, and he seemed to actually care, then I went end screwed it up because of something that didn't even happen yet. I was so afraid of him hurting me and leaving, then I tried to leave first, then things got all screwed up and now..i dont even know.

Maybe being a cat lady wont be so bad. Sure the press would have a hay day with it and I really don't like cats. Yeah it would be terrible.

After spending all summer in this camp, it was time to go home and salvage my career. I really didn't even want to leave, my friends were here and I was finally starting to figure out who I was besides the whole pop star thing. But I had a talk with Chiron and he told me it was time to face the real world and fix everything, after I was 18 I had to go back anyway. But he also told me I was welcome at anytime to come back.

So when it came time to leave, I cried and I cried. Pretty sure I used Fletch as my own personal hanky for the day. Note to self, buy Fletch a new tank top that is not covered in make up and tears. But eventually the tears did stop and I took my stuff and headed out.

Being outside the borders was kinda surreal. The last time I was out here I was with Tommy and there were monsters everywhere, but right now there wasn't any of that. No monster in sight and no cute blonde, nothing except for a cab waiting to take her to the label where they were going to discuss her career.

Getting in the cab, Penelope stared out the window. It was almost like Camp Half Blood and all that never happened. It was all in her rear view mirror. But she already knew that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't shake off everything that has happened these last few months. She was a different person and hopefully her label was ok with this new image. Please Dad, let them be ok with it. Let my career be ok.

Sending up that silent prayer, the cab stopped infront of this beautiful building with projecting screens showing off her image and the image of various other stars. Maybe that was a good sign that her picture was still up there? Fingers crossed. Making her way out of the cab, Penelope held her breath as she entered the building. Her stomach was in knots.

Every single knot unraveled as she entered the building. There were banners, food, and everyone she ever met in her career was there, along with a few guys from the press. It was a party for her. A wide smile played on Penelope's lips as she walked up to her publicist and gave her a big hug.

"What's going on?"

Her publicist smiled back and gave her a hug. Doing something nice like this would have never happened before Camp Half Blood, Penelope would have went straight to the dance floor and partied her butt off, but now she was grateful and she wanted to give credit for whoever did this amazing thing for her.

"Your image is doing great. The story of you going to a camp gives you this earthy quality that the press is just eating up. So the label is throwing you this party to congratulate you."

Giving one last squeeze, Penelope gave another silent thanks to her dad and made her rounds with everyone at the party. Shaking hands, small talk, she did it all until she had introduced herself to every single person and given every single press person there own little scoop.

She was back.
